18th Century English, Neo-Classical-Style Armchair
(Fashioned after chairs by English architect and designer Henry Holland [1745-1806] made for the Prince of Wales at Carleton House, London. These chairs typify the Anglo-French-style of the period.)

Upholstered back within a conforming, thumb-molded and outward curved frame, top rail ends in a scroll, to upholstered arms supported by turned uprights, upholstered trapezoidal seat and thin, thumb-molded apron. All raised on tapering, turned and stop-fluted legs.

Height: 38 1/2�, Width: 25�, Depth: 26�. COM: 2 1/2� yards of fabric.
