The upholstered rectangular seat
rests upon a plain apron with channel fluting. The fluted scroll supports
are joined by a carved stylized cross with three clover leave on each
of the four points to a central star-shape medallion joined by an openwork
diamond stretcher. The slightly cabriole legs end in scroll feet.
